Wk 17 BJF Mar 9

Ben has been out 17 weeks which is 4 months!  "Holy Guacamole" or as the Germans would say, "Es scheint, als ob die Zeit fliegt nicht, wenn Sie in der Mitte sind, aber Ruckblick."

Another week gone by, not much excitement but still enjoyable.

We're mainly getting E. Davis ready to ship home. At the end of the
transfer I'll be swapping out both my comps for some other guy. E.
HolyOak keeps telling me I'm going to be training, if I do please pray
for whichever poor sap ends up with me in Offenbach haha.

Otherwise this week hasn't had a lot of super cool events. We did have
zone training earlier (picture attached) if you notice in the photo
the entire back row of missionaries does not care in the slightest
about the photo.
Working with that many missionaries is always a pleasure, takes some
effort to leave all of them afterwards.
We also met with our regular Monday night appointment. A member who is
a tad on the crazy side but he means well. He showed us his collection
of Deutsche Marks, the currency they used before the Euro. He had
everything from a 1 mark note to 500 billion marks. It's a wonder what
inflation can do. He also had a variety of coins from all over,
Bahamas, Yugoslavia, even a few really old American quarters. I ended
up trading him an American half-dollar for a Kenyan Shilling. Didn't
expect to find that in Germany haha.

Today we explored more of Frankfurt attempting to find some
interesting souvenirs. Most of our exploring was by getting lost. We
had fun anyways. Usually when we travel through Frankfurt we hear a
whole lot of English, most Germans can speak a little but since
Frankfurt is international there are lots English speakers. Today we
helped a fellow find his train. He was originally from Chicago but has
been traveling all over Europe and Asia for business for the last 25
years.

So that's pretty much it for this week. Next week I'll have a new
companion and probably plenty more stories.

Bis dann -Elder Füller.

1-Zone training
2-3 the Kenyan Shilling
4- E. HolyOak on a Bahn.

Elder Davis will be going home front left.  Ben is saying "NOOooo, I have to be in charge now as Senior Companion!"

Letting their lights shine!!
