Yes, this is what sister missionaries do! |
Bon día!
Tengo calor esta semana. Porque espania, claro. Pero mi gusta mucho porque no necesito mi jacketa, entonces, muy bien. Vale,
So it's almost March!! Woo hoooo
This week has been a little more intense, tenemos un otra intercambia.
Y This next week we get to do a split with Hermana Cortez and Hermana Muñoz, I get to be with Hermana Muñoz who speaks absolutely no English. But she's an incredible missionary, we were in the ccm together. It's amazing how fun spanish is the more I speak the more I love it, so this week , me and my companion are speaking only Spanish to prepare for the intercombia. Yaaaaayyy
I love seeing the way the Lord works through people and he works little by little often times very slowly in our eyes, but this past week we had a man call us who was contacted on the street 3 months ago, now he's taking the charlas and he's a golden investigator, he's a little slower so he doesn't speak much but he is so strong and I already see so much excitement for the gospel in him.
I get to make nestle quick cake for the baptism this weekend so I'm excited to show this spaniards what good chocolate cake is.
Thank you for the emails and all the prayers, I feel them everyday.
I am so grateful the Lord knows us as well as he does, everytime I need a little breather, or I need a miracle he helps me get through each day. He knows us, and he has a plan for us.
we had an investigator, who's seriously one of my favorite people out here, drop us for the 3rd time, I know he knows it's true, but it's just not time for him yet. at the time though it hurt a lot to hear that he didn't want to take the lessons. but the lord gave me hope today as I was listening to John bythway, he talked about 2 sister missionaries who worked at a refugee camp, and they weren't allowed to say anything about the gospel, not one word, they were just supposed to prepare and help the people and that was it. The sisters later found out that hundreds of the people they met later found the church and we're baptised when they were contacted by other missionaries.
I am so grateful to know my savior, and my purpose is to bring the message unto people hearts, even if they won't accept it. My job is to show as many people the truth and then let them have their agency.
Just a short letter this week as not much happened, but I'm grateful for the love I feel every day from you all and from my heavenly father.

I'm glad to be here by the sea in the greatest mission on the earth's great face!

NOTE (for those who may not have a BoM - please let me know):
Alma 26: 27
Now when our hearts were depressed, and we were about to turn back, behold, the Lord comforted us, and said: Go amongst thy brethren, the Lamanites, and bear with patience thine afflictions , and I will give unto you success.
