Waiting for the train, they can't ride bikes all the time. I wonder if they coordinated their ties, ha. |
These last few days weren't too eventful. Lots of time spent on buses
and trains, we've gone all over the place for all sorts of reasons and
don't have a lot of stories to tell. I'll try and make the mundane
things seem entertaining.
We've continued working with our Spanish friend and he still likes
having us around despite how annoying we may be. He's going on
Vacation towards the end of the month which is always worrying as many
people come back after awhile and no longer have any interest in
meeting with us. I don't think he'll lose his way. Trust this guy and
I'm sure we'll pick up right from where we leave off. Besides, he's
still gotta teach me Spanish.
Otherwise we've been having lots of meetings with dudes out of
Nigeria/Ghana. I don't know what's going on in those countries but it
must be good as everyone from there loves hearing about God. Earlier
today we bumped into a friend of ours name "Thankgod" I kid you not
that's literally his name. His roommate is a less-active member and
says the guy is crazy. He definitely is, but we like the crazies.
Especially when they're crazy about Jesus.
Otherwise, we've had several meetings in Düsseldorf and Duisburg so
lots of time traveling to and from places. One of the problems with
travelling all the time is it's not always a smooth journey.
For example, At one point Elder Y. forgot his new jacket as it went on
a train to Mönchengladbach. Fortunately through some miracle the
Elders in the city there were able to grab it right as the train
pulled into their station. It was kinda freaky. After taking a few
modelling photos with the jacket around their city we were able to get
down there and retrieve the miracle jacket. Which Elder Y. then almost
lost again haha.
Aside from still being alive, nothing super exciting/spiritual this
week but we'll see how this next one rolls out.
