Week 37 DTF Sep 4

Much water is needed daily.  The LDS church has dug many wells in the area with the Clean Water Initiative.  You can read more about it here:@wells

Here Daniel is pumping the water.  Russ and I talked about what the women must think of this since the men do not help with this kind of work.  I cannot imagine loading those containers onto my back and walking home with my daily ration of water.  But I have read and am pretty sure they carry 40-50lbs on their heads. Great balancing act with posture of a princess.  It's 2017, so the cows must carry it but I don't see any way for them to, nor is there any sign of a wheeled cart to pull. This is another one of my many questions I have to ask him.
African Primary!! They must be pretty loud since this little girl has decided to cover her ears.  I am sure they love Daniel, he has such a great sense of humor.
This little guy looks very proud to be baptized.
Sheltering in place meant lots of memories for these elders over those 10 days.
This man is making "tire sandals".  Funny since Daniel had made leather ones and was in the process of making tire sandals before he left. Africa is perfect for him in many ways.
This skinny cow looks like a puppy dog who likes his ears rubbed.
This is a rare image of a "wild elder"! They are rarely seen up in the trees.  This particular one is sprawled out there.  He looks very much at ease...in the trees...@#)!*^#&^#+!
