Week 64 BJF Feb

I sent Benjamin and his companion Elder Bahr from my home state of North Dakota BEARDSKIS!!
These are important pieces of the missionary uniform.  It's Germany, duh!  Well so imagine my surprise when he sends me these pics outside with no snow.  In fact, the temps are similar to ours.  Go figure...

These two elders have a great time together. Next transfer he will be going home to some really cold temps in N.D. Elder B. says Germany hasn't been nearly as cold as his home.

They say Bitte for everything apparently, looking confused as why the sign is here...

Needed to edit that, sorry. But you get the idea. Bitte!

Week 59 DTF Feb

We were very proud and excited to see Dan's face pop up on Kenya Mormon Newsroom!  One of the missionary moms found it and was the highlight of my day. You can read it here @ Pres. Monson

Hey! that's awesome you got to see that. the lillywhites are some amazing people and i love them to death. That is elder lecheminant and elder thuo,
we were on exchanges so the other zoneleader was with my companion in my area. they are in a three pack so I was with two elders that day.

Mom I love ya so much, I tried to make crepes so I could think I was eating the ones you use to make. I miss you so much and I think about you and dad everyday still. I just pray you guys are having fun and enjoying life back home. I know Im gonna try to spend all my time with y'all when I get back because I miss y'all.

Anyway I will try to take more pictures and write more letters and stuff.! love you! ALso! I loved the year mark gift haha. it was so fun to put together.

Lots of mishmommas give their elder camels at the year mark representing they are finally over the hump. There are poems written t-shirts printed, games, candy you name it...anything in camel form. My boys love their Legos so I couldn't resist this 120 tiny piece Lego camel kit from China, of course, ha. Oh, and they are alpacas which have 2 humps, so there!
That is awesome! elder tucker is actually in my district. I am here with him even today haha. he is the best.

Hey thank you for the recipe! I will have to try it.
Yeah it's pretty much the same temperature year round. its just dry or raining aha.

We went to a national park called "hell's gate" which is the only one where you can just walk around and ride bikes because there are no predators. just giraffe, zebra, buffalo, baboons, and stuff like that. it was an awesome time, I will upload pictures and tell good stories next week. Love you so much.
I will post the video he sent.  It is the only safari you can go on with bikes.  Of course the elders are all over that kind of adventure...hence the video of Dan chasing zebras.
I guess they filmed a Laura Croft movie here. But here he is just telling us how cool E. Tucker is.  His twin is in Johannesburg.
I like how it says Be aware, not BEWARE!  It is their habitat, after all.
Not so innocent.  He says they are mean.

Week 59 RLF Feb

Rachel is loving Zaragoza and is hoping to stay awhile since she has had lots of transfers. She gets attached so maybe that's why she moves on.  I read of missionaries staying in an area for 9 months at a time.  Share the love Rachel...spread it thick!

Zaragoza is the capital of northeastern Spain's Aragon region. Overlooking the Ebro River in the city center is baroque Nuestra SeƱora del Pilar basilica, a famous pilgrimage site with a shrine to the Virgin Mary and multiple domes.

Zaragoza Family History. Spanish: habitational name from the city of Zaragoza in northeast Spain, the ancient capital of the kingdom of Aragon. The name derives, via Arabic, from Latin Caesarea Augusta, the name bestowed in the 1st century ad by the Emperor Augustus.

This is Hermana Orr, Rachel's new companion. What a wonderful person she is.  Rachel was sick and they had to stay in Piso for 6 days straight.  Rachel said she was so helpful and didn't complain about being stuck inside.  The schedule the missionaries keep is very hard for them to stay down.
It is a relief she is over her lung infection and back in the thick-o-things!  Please feel free to write her a letter.  All missionaries love them, long or short @ Sister Rachel Lee Fuller
