Week 60 BJF Jan 2018!!!

Merry Christmas y feliz año!

We ate the grapes! Spaniards have the custome to eat 12 grapes at the gong of each bell at midnight of noche viejo.
Right before you make 12 wishes and if you eat all 12 grapes your wishes will come true!
We ate cold grapes and so we got some brain freezes but it was fun. We even got special permission to see a Muppets Christmas. And then lucky us we got to see fireworks right outside our windows!
We have lots of plans for the new year and we're excited to continue to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ and bring others to learn of him.
It's been great to see different cultures and learn how other people see Christmas.

What's has been interesting is to see how many people don't like Christmas and are really just focused on what they get and the material things in their lives.

The happiest people are the ones who are focused on others at Christmas time and for the new year. These things are simple, but powerful, as we focus on others and make our lives more about Christ we have more joy than we can possibly imagine.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! So excited to talk to everyone today. The growth is amazing and though we didn't get much more than 45 minutes, we used it well and heard lots of amazing stories and it was so fun to hear their language skills.
